Morphe Eyeshadow Palettes – Overrated?

Again, I’m kinda late to the game, but there is still a debate going on around if Morphe eyeshadow palettes are overrated or not, so, I decided to do a blog post on my experience using Morphe’s 35 colour taupe (35T) and Limited edition bronzed mocha (25B) eyeshadow palettes.

Morphe 35 colour taupe palette (35T):

This palette is gorgeous, there is a mixture of matte, satin and shimmering eyeshadows ranging from pink-toned taupe to golden shades, meaning that you can create numerous looks. The quality of the eyeshadows are incredible, they’re really pigmented and feel super soft and creamy when you apply them, not forgetting that they blend like a dream. A little goes a long way with this palette, one tiny sweep of the product on your brush and you’ve got enough.

I would recommend everyone to purchase this palette which retails at £22.00 which I purchased at Beauty Bay however, you can also purchase this palette from: Cult Beauty and Morphe but prices may vary depending where you purchase the palette from. It is also important that when you purchase any makeup, it is from a trusted retailer, you don’t want to be purchasing any fakes.

Morphe limited edition bronzed mocha palette (25B):

Morphe have announced that they’re bringing back this limited edition palette as well as the copper spice palette (25A) on the 25/04/17 – how exciting!

The packaging on this palette is different from Morphe’s ‘regular’ eyeshadow packaging: this palette has a clear lid, is smaller in size and has less individual eyeshadow shades.

There are 25 shades in this palette (10 less than morphe’s ‘regular’ eyeshadow palette), both matte and metallic, which are all really pigmented and easy to blend. You get a variation of peachy, pink, golden, brown and burgundy shades in this palette which you can cocktail together to achieve the perfect look as there’s plenty of shades to choose from. Also, as with the 35T palette, you get little to no fall out however, I would recommend priming your eyelids before applying any eyeshadow as i find that it will last longer that way.

I purchased this palette from Morphe’s website – I didn’t want to wait to see if it would be available in the uk and miss out on getting the palette – which retailed at $17.99 (around £14) however, once you add shipping and customs fee’s it was around $40 (around £31). As mentioned above, this palette, alongside the copper spice palette will be available to purchase on the 25/04/17 only on morphe’s website, so don’t miss out!

Overall, I love both of my Morphe palette’s – they’re such great quality for a reasonable price. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog and if you’d like to see more make sure you subscribe to my blog or follow my twitter/instagram @sineadmatanle so that you can keep up to date with my posts.
